If someone tells you that dreams do not come true and hard work doesn’t pay off, they are simply lying. When we were starting the “We play for Poland” program we dreamed about having USA and Canadian boys to play in Polish National Teams at some point in the future. It turned out that we were able to fulfill that mission much sooner. Zachary Zalewski (Columbus Crew) and Olivier Scott (West Florida Flames) are being called up for the Polish National Team Camp and games against Germany this October. Coach Marcin Wlodarski and other coaches from the Polish FA were working with the boys in Garfield last weekend as a part of the Talent Pro camp organized by our club and the Polish FA. It is all true about hard work, dreams and the right place and the right time. No questions about it. But sometimes it is also about making the right choices in life. This weekend shows this more than anything else. To make the best out of the opportunity, you have to be present.
