“Summer break for S.C. Vistula players is coming to an end this weekend. Wisła’s team will kick off their league matches in the near future. Last season, the S.C. Vistula first team won the GSSL league, which resulted in their promotion to a higher division. This season, Wisła will compete in the Eastern Premier Soccer League (EPSL) in the Metropolitan Conference, and they will begin their league campaign this Saturday at 7:45 AM as the home team at the Athenia Steel Complex in Clifton, NJ. Their first opponent will be Manhattan Celtic.
On the previous day, Friday evening, Vistula’s reserves, the Eagles team, will also start their season. They finished in first place in the GSSL league, earning them a spot in the upcoming season. They have a long journey ahead of them as they face the German American Kickers in an away match.
