Player Development Academy (PDA) and SC Vistula Garfield are thrilled to announce that they are creating a new leading soccer academy in northern New Jersey!

Player Development Academy (PDA) and SC Vistula Garfield are thrilled to announce that they are creating a new leading soccer academy in northern New Jersey called PDA / SC Vistula. As of the beginning of the 2022/23 season the elite boys soccer teams in Garfield will be part of the new entity. PDA / SC Vistula will also build the girls program in New Jersey starting with the age groups of 2010 and younger. The two clubs decided to join forces as they share common values in the development of the players. The new venture is planning on playing its teams at the highest possible level of the US youth soccer. The growth plan includes the employment of the new Director of Coaching and Director of Operations for the club. SC Vistula will continue developing players on the lower level travel soccer as well as recreational programs.

Tom Anderson, the owner of the PDA said: “We were looking for a strong and reliable partner in the northern New Jersey area for a while, as many of our current players come from that part of the state. We have determined that the population of that area and number of kids that want to play soccer at the highest level allow for the existence of a new premier soccer development academy. We were glad to find like minded people and coaches at SC Vistula and we are thrilled to be expanding. Our plans include the development of the additional soccer facilities in Garfield making it a premier location for your soccer players.”

President of SC Vistula, Dariusz Wesolowski added: “This is the step into a new level for our club. We have been enjoying the success of our teams on the local and national scene, but we always wanted to compete with the best and offer the best possible growth path for our players. We believe that the experience and national recognition of the PDA program is a perfect next step for SC Vistula. It is great to be able to agree that we both want to do what is the best for the kids.”

The try-outs for the new teams will start immediately.
