Dear PDA / SC Vistula Parents & Friends, We hope that you are well. We are in the middle of our season and we know that most of the teams are asked to pay additional funds for out of state tournaments. We know that parents are asked to contribute significant amounts towards the developments of their kids.
We, as the club, would like to find ways to help and we are going to introduce a series of fundraisers, during which we hopefully can collect funds from sources other than parents. Today we are going to introduce the first initiative – The Super Bowl Box. You will receive the information about the dinner / dance and 24 hour soccer marathon soon.
The conditions to participate in the Super Bowl Box are very simple:
Super Bowl squares are played on a 10 by 10 grid that has a similar look to it as a bingo card. Each team is assigned to an axis, and each column and row is assigned a number from 0 to 9. Participating in the game itself is as simple as selecting one of those 100 squares.
When it comes to winning, you take the score at each designated time point and whoever has the corresponding square is the winner for that point in time. For example, at the end of the first quarter, if the score is 10-7 to the Chiefs, the person with the square that dissects the Chiefs “0” row and the 49ers “7” row would be the winner.To pick your square please log in to the following website: https://www.runyourpool.com/p/j/3b94611a90d142e1924a8a3f01997ea3Pick available square of your choice and pay the fee of $200. The payouts are as follows:
- 1st Quarter winner – $1,000
- 2nd Quarter (Half-Time) winner – $3,000
- 3rd Quarter winner – $1,000
- 4th Quarter(Final) winner – $5,000
If we fill all the squares – $10,000 will be donated to the club’s travel fund to reduce the cost of the teams traveling to out of state tournaments.
