Just a short one year ago if we told you that SC Vistula Garfield can take the field against Manchester United, Juventus, Anderlecht or Hertha Berlin… nobody have would believe it. If we told you that our boys can be ranked #1 in the United States – you would have knocked your forehead with a finger… If we told you that we can host o tournament for over 90 teams in Garfield, you would have probably smirked. Yet, these dreams become reality at SC Vistula. Our program becomes stronger, our kids and coaches become better. Our dreams become reality and we have no shortage of dreams… So while we are not going to stop and be satisfied with what we have, as “We want More”… we also want all of you to pause for a moment and appreciate what we have. It is not going to be what we are going to have in couple of weeks and months as we want to learn from every experience and improve constantly. But at the same time – we want to stop sometimes and “smell the roses” and enjoy the moment. As we make the dreams become reality – it is only possible due to the hard work and dedication of your coaches and people volunteering for the club. So next time when you see one of them on the field – simply thank them for what they do… That really goes a long way. They are not perfect, but we work damn hard to get as close at it takes.
On another note – SC Vistula Panthers – what a great show of character to play the way you did on Sunday. It is our job to show you that the dreams are possible… it is your hard work to make them reality!!!!
