As we are nearing the XMas Season, we are getting ready for our Xmas party. This year it will happen on Sunday – December 09, 2018 in the following order:
12:00 pm – 2:30 pm – REC
3:00 pm – 5:30 pm – teams 2011 – 2008
6:00 pm – 8:30 pm – teams 2007 – 2003
As usual, it will take place at the Wisla Club – 73 Main Street, Garfield, NJ.
As every year, we will have small gifts for all players plus an opportunity for a picture with the Santa as well as some soccer skill contests. Meal for the kids will be served as well.
We do want to make sure that this year’s party is different than all past years and our players understand that Xmas / Holiday season is not about receiving but mostly about giving to others. We would like to ask all the kids attending the party to bring with them one (or more) toy (book, soccer ball, game, etc…) that they would like to donate to the kids that are not as fortunate as we are.
We would like all the parents to bring the clothes that their kids no longer need and can be donated to and used by those you might need them more. We are in touch with Orphanage Homes in Poland and in addition to sending them whatever we collect the club will also be making a monetary donation to help the kids in need to celebrate the Holiday Season with a smile on their face. Your participation in this program is greatly appreciated…. not by the club, really… but those that we can help.
