It gives us an unbelievable pleasure to announce that with one game left to be played the SC Vistula 2007 Elite Lewandowski are the champions of the EDP Premier I league.
No team in the history of the club has ever won the highest ranked division in the New Jersey soccer. This is a success story that all of us should share with our friends and families.
It shows that with the right coaching (Great Job coach Sala), proper work ethic, team spirit, hard work and support from the parents a “small but proud” club from Garfield can outplay “mighty” Academies and other NJ soccer powerhouses. On the field – the budget, the name, the sponsors do not make a difference. The only things that count are: will, determination, hard work and feeling of the brotherhood. Our 2007 boys are a prime example of that. The club could not be more proud of the coach and the team.
